The Role of Elections in PeacebuildingAbstract Elections are considered one of the most effective means to achieve legitimate interests in situations of disagreement, conflict, and chaos. Such conditions can only be resolved through resorting to the ballot box, ensuring that all parties accept the choice of the people. Voting for the most suitable candidate is a moral and religious responsibility entrusted to citizens, aiming to select those who are most capable of bearing public responsibility. In the absence of ideal candidates, voters should choose the one closest to truth, goodness, and integrity, in order to minimize harm and prevent greater corruption with lesser harm. The study emphasizes that making positive and responsible electoral decisions can contribute significantly to national stability and peacebuilding.

The Psychological Impact of Effective Leadership on the Job Performance of Employees in OrganizationsAbstract This study aimed to identify the impact of effective leadership on employees’ psychological well-being and its reflection on job performance within organizations. It also sought to identify prominent leadership styles and measure their contribution to enhancing motivation and job satisfaction while reducing psychological stress. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach through analyzing relevant theoretical literature and previous studies, in addition to examining the relationships among the study variables using appropriate data analysis tools. The results revealed a statistically significant positive impact of effective leadership on improving employees’ psychological condition. Effective leadership increased job satisfaction, strengthened organizational commitment, and enhanced work motivation, which directly improved job performance. Conversely, the absence of effective leadership led to higher psychological stress and lower job commitment. The study recommended adopting effective leadership styles, training administrative leaders in human-centered and psychological leadership skills, and creating a supportive work environment that promotes mental health and improves organizational performance.

The Rise of Maliki Jurisprudence in North Africa: The Kairouan School and Its Foundational Texts and Distinguished ScholarsAbstract The Kairouan School is considered one of the most influential intellectual centers that contributed significantly to the development and dissemination of Maliki jurisprudence. Its strategic geographical location made it a major hub for scholarly exchange between the Maghreb and the Mashriq, attracting students of knowledge from across the Islamic world. Many scholars traveled from Kairouan to al-Madinah al-Munawwarah to study under Imam Malik ibn Anas and later returned with his knowledge and methodology, which played a major role in spreading the Maliki school throughout North Africa and al-Andalus. Despite facing political challenges during the Aghlabid and Fatimid periods—when Maliki scholars were persecuted and their works destroyed—the Kairouan School remained a prominent center of Islamic legal thought and a cornerstone of jurisprudential scholarship in the western Islamic world.
